is a relatively new breed that was developed in England in 1949, derived from the
Khaki Campbell Duck
.
Welsh Harlequin ducks
were admitted to the United States in 1968.
Welsh Harlequin ducks
have become a very popular breed due to their multipurpose characteristics. They have excellent egg production abilities due to their Khaki Campbell background yet retain the instinct to sit and hatch a nest full of ducklings. They are calm and curious foragers.

Absolutely Beautiful Duck!
This is my 4th or 5th order from California Hatchery and I just have to say they offer such a wonderful service, beautiful ducks that are so sweet, precious and just very friendly all around. Wendy arrived in August with 2 other ducks and was very excited to end her traveling adventure. They ate, went to sleep, and once they got up were very talkative. Now that she is older she has some very beautiful coloring and is very calm when you hold her. She loves to follow me around but isn’t a big talker like some of my other ducks. We are absolutely pleased with her. Thank you!

Duck Order
Just to let you know I don't think I could be happier with my ducklings! They arrived safe and sound with no problems at all. They have been adorable and fairly easy to tame, we even took them to the lake with us. My grandchildren are spending most of the summer with me and are really enjoying them. I want to thank you for allowing such a small order, otherwise I would not have been able to order them. Your online ordering could not have been easier...thank you again, Donna W.
