Safe Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee all of your chicks, ducklings, turkeys, goslings, and other poultry breeds to arrive healthy and alive, however we do not offer a safe arrival guarantee on peafowl. Please take a camera with you to the post office to pick up your chicks and take pictures of any chicks that do not survive shipment so that it can be validated by a postal worker. Poultry, ducklings, or any other breed of bird offered by californiahatchery.com that does not survive shipment will either be replaced or refunded at our discretion and availability. Any breed of chicken, duck, or any other breed of bird that does not survive shipment and/or any issues and/or breed injuries must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by using the CONTACT US FORM at californiahatchery.com to qualify for replacement or reimbursement.  

Cancellation Policy

ORDER CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST TWO (2) WEEKS BEFORE YOUR EXPECTED HATCH DATE. ALL ORDER CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE MADE BY USING THE CONTACT US FORM AT CALIFORNIAHATCHERY.COM. Customer order cancellation requests do not guarantee an order will be canceled. Canceled orders will be charged a non-refundable $15 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be issued for orders that have already been processed and shipped. The customer agrees to allow up to ten business days before a refund will be issued from the date of refund request.

Juvenile and Adult Bird Cancellation Policy- Canceled orders for juvenile and adult birds will be charged a non-refundable 35% cancellation fee. Refunds will not be issued for orders that have already been processed and shipped. The customer agrees to allow up to ten business days before a refund will be issued from the date of refund request. We will never refund more than the original payment amount. 

Hatching Egg Policy
We guarantee all of our hatching eggs to arrive in excellent condition and true to breed variety. However, we cannot guarantee that your hatching eggs will hatch due to conditions beyond our control after your hatching eggs have been shipped. We do not offer refunds on hatching eggs under any circumstance.

Coop Cancellation Policy
We will issue a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and delivery charges and we will charge a 20% restocking fee for all cancelled coop orders. The customer agrees to allow up to ten business days before a refund will be issued from the date of refund request. Our cancellation fee will not be waived for any reason.

Coop Return Policy
Returns are accepted at the discretion of californiahatchery.com on coop orders up to 30 days from the date of purchase in like new condition. We will issue a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and delivery charges and we will charge a 20% restocking fee for returning chicken coops.
